RESOLUTION AUTHORIZLNG EXECUTION OF <br />CC~V~JNITY DEVELOP~ BLOCK GRANT A~ <br /> <br />(herein called the "Applicant/Grantee") proposes to enter into a Grant <br />Agreement (herein called the "Agreement") ~th the L~ited states of <br />America (herein called the "Government"). <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY I~tE APPLIC3%NT/GF~N~EE, as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Agreen~nt in ~m3bstantially the form of contract hereto <br />attached and marked "~x~h3 bit A" is hereby approv~=d eu~.d accepted both as <br />to form and subs~-nce and the (Chief ~x~ecutive Officer or authorized <br />official) is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement <br />in three copies on behalf of the Applicant/Grantee, and the Clerk is <br />hereby authorized and directed to impress and attest the official seal <br />of the A~plicam. t/Grantee on each such counterpart and to fozm~rd two <br />executed counterparts, to the Goverr~ent together with such other <br />documents evidencing the approval and authorizing this execution thereof <br />as may be req.~]~red by the Government. <br /> <br />Section 2. Whenever the follo~.~ng terms, or any of them, are used. <br />in this Kesolution, the same, unless tke context sb~tl indicate anotker <br />or different m~mning or intent, shall be construed, and are intended to <br />have ~eanings as follows: <br /> <br />(1) The term "Resolution" shall mean this Resolution. <br /> <br />(2) All other terms used in this Resolution and which are <br />.... defined in the Grant Agreement shall b~ve the resPeCtive <br />.. me_a_nings ascribed thereto in the Grant Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect inm~diately. <br /> <br /> <br />
