,iESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of University City is an expanding city in the <br />growing County of St. Louis, amd <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council and the University City Park Commission <br />deem it necessary to improve a public park to serve local citizens as well <br />as the traveling public, <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFOP~, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />Ui~IVERSITY CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That application be made under the Land and Water Conservation <br />Fund of the United States Government for a grant-in-aid of 50 per cent <br />of the total cost of the project for the development of the Green <br />property as a typical neighborhood park. <br /> <br /> 2. That a project proposal be prepared and submitted to the - <br />Department of the Interior Bureau of Outdoor Recreation through the <br />State Inter-Agency Council for Outdoor Recreation for said grant-in-aid. <br /> <br /> 3.
