Special Session 935, Minutes <br />June 23, 1969 <br /> <br />Page 18 <br /> <br />Bills for Second Reading, continued: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 6615 - A/-{E~qDING C}L~PTF~R 33 }R~]ICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ~,~IGHTS <br />AI{D MEASURES (SECTION 33-33): <br />Bill No. 6615 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 6615 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Councilman Epstein moved that Bill No. 6615 be adopted as an ordinance. <br />Motion seconded by Councilman Werner. Upon roll call, the following vote <br />was recorded: AYES: Councilmen Lieberman, Grimm, Werner, Epstein, Glickert <br />and Mayor Kaufman. NAYS: None. ABS~T: Councilman Woods. The motion <br />therefore carried and Bill No. 6615 was adopted as Ordinance No. 4510. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 6616 AMenDING C~hkPTER 18 MUNICIPAL CODE (SECTION 18-20.5) <br />RELATING TO LICENSES AND BUSINESS P~GULATIONS: <br /> <br />Bill No. 6616 was given its second reading° <br /> <br />Bill No° 6616 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Councilman Epstein moved that Bill No. 6616 be adopted as an ordinance. <br />Motion seconded by Councilman Lieberman. Upon roll call, the following <br />vote was recorded: AYES: Councilmen Lieberman, Grimm, Werner, Epstein, <br />Glickert and Mayor Kaufman. NAYS: None. ABS~T: Councilman Woods. The <br />motion therefore carried and Bill No. 6616 was adopted as Ordinance No. <br />4511. <br /> <br />In reply to a question by Councilman Epstein, Mr. V. A. Ellman, Director <br />of Finance, indicated he would follow the St. Louis County standards on <br />ambulance charges where a situation is encountered in which a person cannot <br />pay. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 6617 (ASA MENDED) - ORDERING THE LEVY AND FIXING THE RATE OF <br />TAXES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1969-70: <br /> <br />Bill Mo. 6617 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Councilman werner moved the following amendment: In Section 2, line 3, <br />the rate of SEVENTEEN CENTS (17¢) be changed to EIGHTEEN C~VNTS (18¢) - <br />on each ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00) of assessed valuation - for the <br />library. Motion seconded by Councilman Grimm. Ail members of the Council <br />voted AYE with the exception of Councilman Lieberman who voted ~Y. <br />Motion therefore carried. <br /> <br />Bill No. 6617 As Amended was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Councilman Uerner moved that Bill No° 6617 As Amended be adopted as an <br />ordinance. Motion seconded by Councilman Grimm. Upon roll call, the <br />follcwing vote was recorded: AYES: Councilmen Lieberman, Grimm, Uerner, <br />Epstein, Glickert and Mayor Kaufman. NAYS: None.
