He called upon ~fr. V. A. <br />Ellman, Director of Finance~ to make further clarification of the item <br />':lSO0-B Insurance." <br /> <br />Councilman Bamburg moved approval of the transfers as set forth above. <br />Motion seconded by Councilman Epstein and unanimously carried. <br /> <br />FUTURE PROPOSED BOND ISSUE: <br />City Manager Henry stated this matter has been placed on the agenda at <br />the request of the Mayor and some of the members of the Council. He said <br />some pending capital outlay projects remain to be considered for the period <br />through June 1973 and the items are mentioned on page B-17 of Exhibit I of <br />the proposed 1967-68 Budget: <br /> <br />Park Land Acquisition <br />Park }~intenance Building <br />Fire Trucks <br />Skating Rink <br /> TOTAL <br /> <br />$ 78,000 <br />90,000 <br />132,000 <br />.400~000 <br />$ 700,000 <br /> <br />Reviewing details, the City Manager said the park land acquisition has <br />been contemplated for some time and involves a four acre parcel of vacant <br />land on Partridge Avenue and about a seven acre parcel on Blackberry Lane - <br />the federal government has approved matching funds for this land and is <br />holding same until the end of the current calendar year. The land is <br />therefore available at 50% cost to the City and has been recommended for <br />acquisition for a considerable length of time. He said the fire trucks are <br />getting old, and the park maintenance building is in poor condition. The <br /> <br /> <br />
