She <br />hopes the feeling of open space from the outside of buildings will not be lost. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Brungardt, Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Ms. <br />Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt and Mayor Adams; NAYS: none. Bill 8744 passed <br />and became Ordinance Number 6514. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8745 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, TO ENTER INTO AND EXECUTE AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION <br />COMMISSION WHICH PROVIDES THAT THE CITY SHALL RECEIVE GRANT <br />FUNDS FOR TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT ACTIVITIES ON CANTON, <br />GROBY, OLD BONHOMME AND PERSHING AVENUE. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved to adopt and Ms. Colquitt seconded. Bill 8745 passed and became Ordinance <br />Number 6515. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8746 - APPROVING A FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF A TRACT OF <br />LAND TO BE KNOWN AS "BEACHWOOD FIRST CONDOMINIUM" AND <br />LOCATED AT 7046 DARTMOUTH. <br /> <br />The bill was given its second reading. <br />The bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch moved approval and Ms. Colquitt seconded. <br /> <br />Ronnie Deever, senior engineer with Clayton Engineering, advised that the name of this <br />record plat has been changed from Beechwood First Condominium to Beechwood <br />Condominium as a result of a request from an attorney and asked that it become part of <br />the record. <br /> <br />Ms. Brungardt said she had heard from constituents about their concern regarding <br />changes on Dartmouth and subsequent increases in rents in the area and the effects of <br />redevelopment. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch moved to delete the word 'first" from the official name of this development <br />and Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, The amendment passed unanimously. <br /> Page 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
