Regular Session 1941 <br />December 6, 2004 <br /> <br />step. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch said that according to the Advisory Board for Economic Progress, the Dog <br />Park is one reason people move to University City, and she asked Mr. Schenck to have <br />his group encourage people "to put their plastic bags into the trash can" and to <br />purchase more secure benches so plastic furniture does not tip over. Mr. Schenck then <br />commented about the recent receipt of a grant from the Ralston-Purina Foundation and <br />that it was used to purchase ten new, recycled park benches. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR THIRD READING: <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8740 - AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE MUNICIPAL DOE, <br />RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING <br />SECTION 10.36.150, RELATING TO LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN <br />STREETS AT ALL TIMES OR DURING DESIGNATED HOURS, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />SECTION 10.36.150 LEFT TURNS PROHIBITED ONCERTAIN STREETS AT <br />ALL TIMES OR DURING DLESIGNATED HOURS," THEREBY AMENDING <br />SAID SECTION SO AS TO PROHIBIT LEFT TURNS BY NORTHBOUND <br />VEHICLES ON THE EAST LEG OF TRINITY AVENUE AT DELMAR <br />BOULEVARD BETVVEEN THE HOURS OF 7:00 A.M. (Held over from 10111104, 11/01/04, <br />11/15/04) <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch asked if information had been received from the County and was advised <br />that it had not been forthcoming, so she requested that the Bill be held over until such <br />time as they report back on their position on changing the length of lights at Kingsland <br />Boulevard. The Bill will be held over once again until January 10, 2005. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING: <br /> <br />1.
