He said the Ccmnission voted unaniIoously to Il'ake this neasure <br />pennanent. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams felt it was clear that "street" did not nean the entire length of a <br />street but one particular area. He suggested that ~ ordinance be rewritten <br />to specify the area included. Mayor Majerus said it was written generically <br />so that it wouldn't have to be rewritten if a new area is to be included. <br /> <br />It was decided to defer the third reading until the next meeting, after the <br />City Attorney reviews the proposed charges. <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman said the second year grant of $244,000 has been awarded to the <br />University City Conm.mi.ty Partnership by the Office of SUbstance Abuse Pre- <br />vention. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus said Mr. Adams will serve as Mayor Pro Tern for the December 9th <br />meeting since she must be out of town. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus adjourned the meeting at 8:35 p.m. <br /> <br />~Q~~ <br />Ihlores A.
