<br />SESSION 1553 <br /> <br />MINUl'ES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY CITY CXXJNCIL <br /> <br />September 16, 1991 <br /> <br />At a regular meeting of the city Council of University city, held in the As- <br />sembly Roam of City Hall on Morrlay, September 16, 1991, Mayor Janet Majeros <br />presided and called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the <br />Mayor, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price <br />Mr. JOBeJ;i1 L. Adams, Jr. * <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mary V. SChuman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schoaner <br />Mrs. Betty L. '!hanpson <br /> <br />*Mr. Adams arrived at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollerrlorff. <br /> <br />MINUl'ES <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the August 19, 1991 minutes as submitted. Mr. <br />Price seconded the motion, which carrie:i unanimously. <br /> <br />REAPFOINIMENTS <br /> <br />Mrs. 'Ihompson moved the reappointments of Mrs. Janie Yeai, 8527 Elmore, and <br />Mrs. Barbara Mulley, 722 Pennsylvania, to the commission on Human Relations <br />for tenus expiring August 6, 1994. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER'S REFORm <br /> <br />CDNSENT CAlENDAR (ElGEfl' ITEMS) <br /> <br />Purchase of Defibrillator/Monitor (#1). Ihysio Control, sole source for Fire <br />Deparbnent Life Pak equipment, bid $8,655 ($8,625 plus $30 shipping) for a <br />Life Pak 10 defibrillator/monitor. Acceptance was recomnended. <br /> <br />Performance Season picnic License Requested l::W CXX'A (#2). '!he Center of Con- <br />temporcuy Art (ax::A) has requested approval of a picnic license for the sale <br />of wine and beer during intermi.ssion at a number of perfonnance dates (listed <br />under separate cclVer) during the 1991-92 season. Approval was reconunende:i. <br /> <br />Sadler Walkway Vacation (#3). It was propose:l that a public hearing be held <br />at 7:30 p.m. October 7, 1991, in the council chambers, to consider the vaca- <br />tion of a walkway in the 6700 block between Olive and Bartmer. '!he adjacent <br />residential propErrty owners requested this action, however, the views of the <br />property owners on Olive are unknown. All adjacent owners will be notified. <br /> <br />Salt Purchase for 1991-92 (#4),. Invitations to bid on approx:i1nately 21,000 <br />
