<br />~6Jcm~ l k <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHERE'AS, on November 5, 1991, the state of Missouri will submit a <br />proIX>SCti to Missouri voters J.:nown as Proposition B; am <br />WHEREAS, Proposition B will provide nn.lch-nee.ded furrling for all <br />levels of education in Missouri, from kirrlergarten through college; am <br />WHERE'AS, it is estimated that Proposition B will raise $385 million <br /> <br />in Fiscal 1993, with gradually increasing amounts in subsequent years; <br /> <br />am <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is inperative that Missouri Schools in all categories <br /> <br />are able to produce students who are well educated am who will keep <br /> <br />America competitive in the world arena, <br /> <br />NCM, 'IHEREFORE, BE IT HESOLVED that the Mayor am City Council of <br /> <br />University City, recognizing the importance of an excellent education for <br />all Missouri students, do wholeheartedly support am urge all citizens to <br /> <br />vote for Proposition B on November 5, 1991. <br /> <br />AOOPI'ED this 21st day of October, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />ATl'EST: <br /> <br />cx~ (/ ~ <br />City Clerk <br />
