SESSICl'f 1544 ~ MINUl'ES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY CITY CXXJNCIL May 20, 1991 At a regular meetirg of the city Council of University city held in the As- sembly Room of City Hall on Monday, May 20, 1991, Mayor Janet Majerus presid- ed and called the meetirg to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, the followirg members of the Council were present: Mr. Byron R. Price Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. Mr. RobertG. Wagner Mrs. Mary V. Schuman Mr. PaulE.Schoamer Mrs. Betty L. 'Ihc:lltpSOI1 Also present was city Manager Frank OlleIrlorff. MINUl'ES Mr. Wagner noved approval of the May 6, 1991 minutes as submitted. Mr. Price secon::led the motion, which carried unani.m:>usly. 0A'lH OF OFFICE Ms. Patricia Perryman, a recent appointee to the Historic PreseJ:vation Com- mission, was given the oath of office by the City Clerk. Mayor Majerus thclnked Ms. Perryman for her willi.rx]ness to seJ:.Ve on this com- mission, notin:J that the City's heritage is very inp::>rtant to every citizen. ANNOONCEMENT Mayor Majerus said the week of May 19-25 is National Public Works Week, and the City was very proud of its employees. Several activities are planned-- an equipment rodeo at Pershing School and a tour of the transfer station and compostirg site. Also, an 8 minute video entitled ''Who Takes Care of Univer- sity City" is available for public viewirg.
