'!he assessment rate for owners is $11.11 Per abutting foot, or $5.55 <br />Per side yard foot. An CMI'ler may pay over a three to five year pericd, with <br />interest set at 8%. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus opened the public hearing at 8:06 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Mike Whetsel, 1262 Pennsylvania, said the property owners met and decided <br />they would not be interested in the inprovement at this time because several <br />felt they oould not afford it. <br /> <br />Ms. Cora Helrlerson, 1266 Pennsylvania, said most of the owners wanted the im- <br />provement ani wished to Jmor.y if City loans 'Were available. '!he Mayor said <br />they were ani owners may pay the money back over varying Periods of time.
