<br />------------ - <br />..... . <br /> <br />~6 09Jf€ /qq 1/+ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />/- <br /> <br />The matter of the improvement of the public alley just east of <br /> <br />Pennsylvania Ave. e~tending from Roberts Ave to Raymond Ave., in Block <br /> <br />4 of Pershing Heights Subdivision, in the City of University City, <br /> <br />Missouri, was then considered. <br /> <br />After a general discussion, Councilmember <br /> <br />Schoomer <br /> <br />offered the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of University City, <br /> <br />Missouri, deems it necessary to improve the public alley just east of <br /> <br />Pennsylvania Ave. extending from Roberts Ave. to Raymond Ave., a <br /> <br />distance of approximately two hundred fifty (250) feet, in Black 4 of <br /> <br />Pershing Heights Subdivision, in the City of University City, Missouri; <br /> <br />by excavating for the proposed construction, and installing a 7" thick <br /> <br />Portland Cement concrete pavement 15 feet wide, and in such a way so <br /> <br />that the proposed improvement meets e~isting adjacent grades a5 closely <br /> <br />as practical. This includes doing all other work necessary to complete <br /> <br />the project in a satisfactory manner and in accordance with the City's <br /> <br />standard specifications for this type of work; that the "Whole Cost" of <br /> <br />the improvement is appro~imately FOURTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY <br /> <br />SIX DOLLARS ($14,396.00), which includes all expenses incurred by the <br /> <br />City for surveys, plans, engineering services, etc.; that part of the <br /> <br />final "Whole Cost" shall be paid for by a special tax or assessment <br /> <br />levied against a benefit district, which shall consist of all lots and <br /> <br />parcels of land abutting or fronting the improvement, in the name of <br /> <br />the owner or owners thereof; at the rate of ELEVEN AND 11/100 DOLLARS <br /> <br />1 <br />
