Ms. Holley said that will not help her, because the condition of the <br />two buildings makes it difficult for her to borrow money to work on her own <br />building, ani when she is successful the loans are at exorbitant rates. <br /> <br />Mr. Price did not urrlerstarrl why the City continued to hold the building if <br />there were no buyers even at essentially no cost. Mr. Ollendorff remin:ied <br />Council that the City has basically subsidized the rehabbing of 35 apartment <br />buildings in the Loop over the past 10 years, ani every one had been vacant <br />for at least two years.
