Mr. Alex Feldman, 1233 Backer, asked how lon:J the City has had this money. Mr. Ollernorff said the funjs were fran 1989 am 1990 am must be allocated before the ern of December or they will be lost. Mr. Feldman asked why it was not spent. Mr. Ollerrlorff said one reason is that the city was able to get same of the work done under budget. Mr. Feldman questioned whether the Kingslam Bridge was the best place to pIt this money. Mrs. Schuman said she asked the City Manager the same questions, am he said there were several reasons why the money was not spent in the year allocated. Responding to Mrs. '!hampson, Mr. Ollernorff said Council could put some of the money into home improvemant grants or loans if it prefers. '!he motion was approved four to zero.
