<br />SESSIOO 1577 <br /> <br />MINUI'ES OF 'lliE UNIVERSITY CITY CXXJNCIL <br /> <br />Sept:.erriJer 14, 1992 <br /> <br />At a regular IOOeting of the City Camcil of University city held in the As- <br />sembly Roc::m of City Hall on Momay, September 14, 1992, Mayor Janet Majerus <br />presided am called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the <br />Mayor, the followin;J members of the Camcil were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price <br />Mr. Josept L. Adams, Jr. * <br />Mr. Rd::lertG.wagner <br />Mrs. Mal:.y V. SChuman <br />Mr. PaulE. Sch<:x:Irer <br />Mrs. Betty L. 'lhcmpson <br /> <br />*Mr. Adams arrived at 8:40 p.m. <br /> <br />Also present was Actin;J City Manager Al Goldman. <br />MINUI'ES <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the August 17, 1992 minutes as submitted. Mrs. <br />Schuman secorrled the notion, which carried unanim:>usly. <br /> <br />cn.1MENTS - WASHINGroN UNIVERSITY S'lUDENI' RF.PRESENl'ATIVE <br /> <br />Ms. Michelle Brodsky, wasl'1in3ton University student liaison to the City coun- <br />cil, announced a rnnnber of upc:x:Il1in;J canplS activities of interest to Univer- <br />sity city residents, including H~ on October 3m. She noted several <br />articles about University City that were printed in Student Life recently. <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman co~tulated the wasl'1in3ton University Enviromnental Action <br />Group, which has urrlertaken a very extensive recyclin;J project in University <br />city in conjunction with the Public Works Department. <br /> <br />CITY w.~' S REroRl'S <br /> <br />CDNSENT CAI..ENIll\R (FIVE ITEMS) <br /> <br />Purchase of 9-GancT Fairwav Mower (#1).
