<br />SESSION 1574 <br /> <br />MINUI'ES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY CITY CXXJNCIL <br /> <br />July 6, 1992 <br /> <br />At a regular meetin;J of the city Council of University City held in the As- <br />sembly Roam of City Hall on Momay, July 6, 1992, Mayor Janet Ma.jerus presid- <br />ed am called the meetin;J to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, <br />the followin;J members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price <br />Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mary V. SChuman <br />Mr. Paul E. SChoomer <br />Mrs. Betty L. 'Ihompson <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollerrlorff. <br /> <br />MINUl'ES <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved that the June 15, 1992, minutes be approved as submitted. <br />Mr. Adams seconded the m:>tion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AProINIMENI'S. RFAProINIMENI'S <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved that Mr. James Chen:y, 7334 Pershi.rg, am Ms. Bettye Dew, <br />7154 wasllirgton, be reappointed as members of the Library Board for terns ex- <br />pirin;J June 30, 1995. Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, am all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mr. Sd10aner moved that Mr. Joseph Brown, 1457 Forest Green court, am Mr. <br />James Harris, 409 West Point court, be reappointed to the Board of Adjustment <br />for terns expirin;J July 7, 1997. Mrs. 'Ihompson seconded the motion, which <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. SChoomer moved that Council confinn the election of Mr. Rick CUrtis, C0m- <br />merce Bank, 6630 Delmar, to the University City Loop Special Business Dis- <br />trict CCmnission for a tenn expirin;J January 1, 1994. Mr. Wagner secorrled <br />the m:>tion, am all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams moved the appointment of Mr. 'Ihamas E. Kahn, #7 Westridge court, to <br />the City Plan CCmnission for an Ul1eXpired tenn errlin;J January 1, 1995. Mr. <br />Wagner secorrled the motion, which carried unaniIrously. <br /> <br />OA'IHS OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Ms. Lita Pener-COllins and Mr. 'Ihamas CObb, recent appointees to the Library <br />Board and MuniciPal Commission on Arts and letters , respectively, were given <br />the oath of office by the city Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus said there were no two groups in university City that better <br />reflect its heritage than these two boards, and she thanked the new members <br />for their willingness to serve. <br />
