Mr. Wagner said the or- dinance was originally suwosed to address the sight line fran the street so the unfinished side of the fence did not face the street. He did not believe it was interned to al;:ply to fences facing the alley or those between neigh- bors. He felt repealing the ordinance was too severe, ani that it could be satisfactorily amerrled to meet m:>st d::>jections. Ms. Smith also thought it could be c:l'1anJed so that only fences facing the street are affected. '!here was further discussion, ani Mr. Adams asked that a public hearing be held to discuss repeal of the fence ordinance. It was so ordered for July 27, 1992.
