<br />SESSION 1570 <br /> <br />MINrJI'ES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY CITY a:xJNCIL <br /> <br />May 13, 1992 <br /> <br />At a special budget study meetinJ of the City Council of University City held <br />in the Emergency Operations Center on Wednesday, May 13, 1992, Mayor Janet <br />MajenlS presided am called the meetinJ to order at 7:03 p.m. In addition to <br />the Mayor, the followinJ members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner* <br />Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br />Mr.PaulE.Sdloaner <br />Mrs. Betty L. 'Iharp;on <br /> <br />*Mr. Wagner arrived at 7:19 p.m. <br />Absent: Councilmember J~ L. Adams, Jr., who was excused. <br /> <br />Also present were City Manager Frank Ollen:lorff am Finarx::e Director Willie <br />Norfleet. <br /> <br />'Ihe public was irwited to atterxi the meetinJ as observers. He called atten- <br />tion to 726.02 street am sidewalk Repairs, notinJ that on the list of these <br />items, those with top priority add up to IlDre than is budgeted, however, some <br />areas needi.rg attention are eligible for Ccmm.mity Develc:p1WaI1t furxls. 'Ihere <br />was further discussion on the streets am alleys that nest need repairs. Mr. <br />Ollendorff said an item needed but not included is a win:lrow tmner for the <br />COll'pOSt operation; he hoped that state or CXJllI'lty larrlfill IlDney may be avail- <br />able for this purd1ase. He said if the City were not prdrlbited fran exparrl- <br />ing its compostinJ operation beyom its current site, it would not need such <br />an expensive piece of equipnent. <br /> <br />*Mr. Wagner arrived at this time. <br /> <br />2640 Planni.nJ am Develcanent (paqe C-56). If it becames nec:essary that the City do it, IlDney must be <br />taken from Conununity Development funjs, if the property is eligible, or Con- <br />tingency.
