<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 7, 1992, the University City Board of Education <br /> <br />will submit a proposed tax levy increase ani born issue to the voters of <br /> <br />University City, ani <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the University city Board of Education wishes to continue <br />to provide a sourrl curriculum, excellent teachers ani administrators, ani <br /> <br />supporti.rg materials ani equipne.nt, all of which are ex>rrlucive to learnin;J <br />for every child in the University City Schools, ani <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of University city is firmly ex>nvinced <br />that the public school system is a prime asset in our conununity, ani that <br />maintaini.rg a high quality of educational services is essential to the <br /> <br />well-bei.rg of the ccmnunity, <br />NGl, 'IHEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of University <br />City wholeheartedly supports the proposed tax increase ani born issue, ani <br /> <br />interns to lend every effort in support of this canpaign, ani <br />BE IT FURlHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of University city <br /> <br />urges every voter to approve the proposed tax increase. <br />AOOPl'ED this 27th day of January, 1992. <br /> <br /> <br />A'ITEST : <br /> <br />~O.~ <br />City Clerk <br />
