<br />SESSION 1560 <br /> <br />MINUI'ES OF '!HE UNIVERSITY' CITY <XlUNCIL <br /> <br />JanualY 6, 1992 <br /> <br />At a regular meetin;J of the City Council of University City held in the As- <br />sembly Room of City Hall on Momay, January 6, 1992, Mayor Janet MajenlS pre- <br />sided and called the meetin;J to order at 7:30 p.m. In addition to the Mayor, <br />the followin;J members of the Council were present: <br /> <br />Mr. Byron R. Price <br />Mr. Joseph L. Adams, Jr. <br />Mr. Robert G. Wagner <br />Mrs. Mary V. Schuman <br />Mr. Paul E. Schocmer <br />Mrs. Betty L. 'Ihanpson <br /> <br />Also present was City Manager Frank Ollerrlorff. <br /> <br />MINUI'ES <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved approval of the December 9, 1991 minutes as submitted, with <br />Mr. Price seconding the motion. All voted Aye except Mayor Majerus, who ab- <br />stained because she was not present at that meetin;J. <br /> <br />AProINIMENT. RFAProINIMENTS <br /> <br />Mrs. Schuman moved the appoinbnent of Mr. Michael Co:rn, 7044 Pershin;J, to the <br />Board of Buildin;J Code Appeals for an unexpired tenn errlin;J August 1, 1994. <br />Mr. Wagner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved the reappoinbnents of Ms. Mary Kimbrough, 7379 Pershin;J, Mr. <br />Jay M. Brandt, 7230 Tulane, and Ms. Cynthia K. Wrobel, 415 Alta Dena, to the <br />Municipal Commission on Arts and Letters for terms expirin;J January 2, 1996. <br />Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams moved that Mr. Esley Hamilton, 7346 Balson, Mr. Paul strohm, 7026 <br />Lindell Boulevard, and Mr. 'Ihornas E. Kahn, 7 Westridge Court, be reappointed <br />to the Historic Presel:Vation Commission for terms expirin;J September 9, 1994. <br />Mr. Schoomer seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Price moved the reappoinbnents of Mr. Charles Foxworth, 6852 Julian, and <br />Mr. Darrell Collins, 7029 Etzel, to the City Plan Commission for tenns expir- <br />in;J January 1, 1995. Mrs. 'Ih~n seconded the Irotion and all voted Aye. <br /> <br />OA'IH OF OFFICE <br /> <br />Ms. Karen A. Palmer, recently appointed to the Committee on Access and local <br />Origination Programming, was given the oath of office by the City Clerk. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus thanked Ms. Palmer for her willingness to sel:Ve the City in <br />this capacity, adding that she felt Ms. Palmer would find sel:Vin;J on this <br />conunittee very excitin;J. <br />
