'!here <br />was a roun::i of applause. <br /> <br />Mr. Adams said many residents were upset about risin;J cable television rates, <br />but at the ern of January the U. S. Senate will consider S.B. 12, which re- <br />turns same of the control over cable television that municipalities lost some <br />years ago. He urged those present to write Sen. Danforth, the bill's sponsor. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus asked the Council to relay any items they would like to have on <br />the agerrla for the joint City Council-School Board meetin;J January 25. <br /> <br />Mayor Majerus exterrled best wishes for a happy new year.
