Mr. Sharpe introduced Bill Number 8784: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING RESULTS OF BOND ELECTION. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot asked why it took so long to settle this matter, and Mr. Ollendorff <br />said that the money is not borrowed until it is needed. <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTS <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe asked about “putting a restroom" on the Chambers floor during the <br />renovation. Mr. Ollendorff said the City just could not afford it at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams had several announcements. The first related to the Missouri <br />Municipal League and a membership plaque that was sent to us. The Mayor updated <br />everyone on the legislative antics surrounding the cell phone legislation. A <br />Budget Session will be held on May 9, 2005 at 6:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers <br />and a second Budget Session on May 11, 2005 in the library, and the next regular <br />Council meeting is on Monday, May 23,2005. Mr. Ollendorff said the rear of the <br />Council Chambers would be used as a conference room for meetings, but on May <br />11th there would be court, so the library was selected as the meeting venue. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot asked if there was a Disability Access Law which mandated having a <br />restroom on the Fifth Floor, and Mr. Ollendorff said he did not know. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mayor Adams declared the meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m. The next regular <br />meeting of the City Council will be June 6, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br />Leisha Meine Forsythe, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
