HUNDRED AND EIGHTY (480) FEET WEST OF BIG BEND BLVD, CONTAINING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.

2. Mr. Sharpe introduced Bill Number 8784:

AN ORDINANCE DECLARING RESULTS OF BOND ELECTION.

Ms. Brot asked why it took so long to settle this matter, and Mr. Ollendorff
said that the money is not borrowed until it is needed.

MISCELLANEOUS COMMENTS

Mr. Sharpe asked about “putting a restroom" on the Chambers floor during the
renovation. Mr. Ollendorff said the City just could not afford it at this time.

Mayor Adams had several announcements. The first related to the Missouri
Municipal League and a membership plaque that was sent to us. The Mayor updated
everyone on the legislative antics surrounding the cell phone legislation. A
Budget Session will be held on May 9, 2005 at 6:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers
and a second Budget Session on May 11, 2005 in the library, and the next regular
Council meeting is on Monday, May 23,2005. Mr. Ollendorff said the rear of the
Council Chambers would be used as a conference room for meetings, but on May
11th there would be court, so the library was selected as the meeting venue.

Ms. Brot asked if there was a Disability Access Law which mandated having a
restroom on the Fifth Floor, and Mr. Ollendorff said he did not know.

ADJOURNMENT

Mayor Adams declared the meeting adjourned at 9:40 p.m. The next regular
meeting of the City Council will be June 6, 2005.

____________________________________
Leisha Meine Forsythe, City Clerk
