Regular meeting
June 27, 2005

Ordinance number 6563.

5. BILL NO. 8794 - FIXING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO CITY
OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES AS ENUMERATED HEREIN FROM AND
AFTER JUNE 29, 2005, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 6484.

Mr. Ollendorff explained that there was a typographical entry error that he just caught
late this afternoon. This is the bill that establishes salaries for all city employees. On
page 7 is the list of personnel not in the classified service. He noted that the Public
Relations Administrator should have been a Grade 16 and then the salary should be
$3,576-$4,653.

Mr. Wagner moved this amendment. Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion, which carried
unanimously.

Mr. Ollendorff informed the Council that if an amendment is considered substantial, the
bill would be held until the next meeting, before being considered for final action. Minor,
non-substantial changes, such as this one, can be acted on immediately.

The bill was given its second reading.
The bill was given its third reading.

Mr. Wagner moved adoption and Mr. Sharpe seconded the motion. The Roll Call vote
was as follows: AYES: Ms. Welsch, Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt, Mr.
Wagner, Ms. Brot and Mayor Adams; NAYS: none. Bill number 8794 passed and
became Ordinance number 6564.

6. BILL NO. 8795 - FIXING ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO
CERTAIN CITY OFFICIALS ON DECEMBER 30, 2005.

The bill was given its second reading.
The bill was given its third reading.

Ms. Colquitt moved adoption and Ms. Brungardt seconded the motion.

Ms. Welsch asked the city manager to refresh her memory as to what this bill
concerned. Mr. Ollendorff said that this adds the extra, one-time bonus that Council
authorized to certain department directors.

The Roll Call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Sharpe, Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt, Mr.
Wagner, Ms. Brot, Ms. Welsch, and Mayor Adams; NAYS: none.
