<br />5; '-/' 0";- <br /> <br />Q(5;(J#$ <br />RESOLUTION FOR RESIDENTIAL INFILL REVIEW BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS a plan for creating an Infill Review Board has been presented to the Council, <br />and all submitted responses incorporated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Manager has agreed in principle to work with Councilmembers on <br />the final details of a cooperative citizen I Plan Commission Board; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS our agreed intent is to encourage economic benefits to University City <br />through residential infill construction, while being achieved in harmony with existing <br />neighborhoods; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Manager has also agreed to consider developing certain zoning <br />ordinance revisions to include, a three-tiered system throughout the city to determine <br />building lot sizes, widths, setbacks, building heights, and floor area ratios that are better <br />tailored to the specific neighborhoods targeted for infill construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Council generally agrees that improved communications among <br />developers, city staff, and neighbors of infill construction should be facilitated where <br />deemed necessary; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City Manager is agreeable to including the general principles above in <br />the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the University City Council does encourage the <br />inclusion of the general principles above in the Comprehensive Plan, and to work out the <br />final details among City Manager, staff, Plan Commission, and City Council during June <br />and July 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br /> <br />~fJ <br /> <br />~ <br />
