<br />RESOLUTION NO. ({}2XJ10~A <br /> <br />~1Jf <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant Funds enable University City and many <br />other communities across the country to provide improved living environments for low and <br />moderate income residents, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this valuable Federal program is being challenged by many in Congress and <br />the administration, Washington D.C., <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF UNIVERSITY CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />It is hereby resolved that the University City Council urges the continuation and expansion of <br />the Community Development Block Grant program under the direction of the U.S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development; <br /> <br />and it is further resolved that members of our congressional delegation and leaders of <br />neighboring communities be advised of this position and requested to lend their support. <br /> <br />Adopted this <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />day of ff/;J;rnA <br /> <br />20cS: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />L i a Meine-Forsythe <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />~fv({ <br /> <br />, .... .... ~ , ..
