RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> The matter of establishing a neighborhood improvement district in University Heights <br />Subdivision Number One was considered. <br /> <br /> After a review and general discussion of the matter, Councilmember Paul Schoomer offered <br />the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of University City, Missouri finds as <br />follows: <br /> 1. University Heights Subdivision Number One is a subdivision in the City of <br /> University City, Missouri. <br /> <br />On December 16, 1997 a proper petition for the creation of a neighborhood <br />improvement district within the subdivision was filed with the City Clerk. <br /> <br />The petition was signed by the owners of record of at least two-thirds by area of all <br />real property located within the proposed neighborhood improvement district. <br /> <br />4. The project name for the proposed improvement is the "University Heights <br /> Subdivision Number One Improvement Project." <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The proposed improvement is the partial removal and replacement of concrete gutters <br />and curbs, and the renovation and re-paving of subdivision streets. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The estimated cost of proposed improvement is five hundred thousand dollars <br />($500,000.00). <br /> <br />The general boundaries of the proposed neighborhood improvement district to be <br />assessed are as shown on the attached plat marked Exhibit "A" and by reference made <br />a part hereof, and more fully described as follows: <br /> <br />All of Lot 10 and the western 12.28 acres of Lot 9 of the subdivision of Eliza <br />Clemens Estate, in United States Survey Number 378; also all of Lot 16 of <br />Clemens extension of Olive Street Addition in said United States Survey <br />Number 378; containing in all 84.81 acres, more or less; recorded in Plat <br />Book 6, Pages 14 and 15 in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of St. Louis <br />County, Missouri. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />The proposed method of assessment of real property within the proposed <br />neighborhood improvement district is for the improvement cost to be assessed in <br /> <br /> <br />
