<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Ms. Watson supplied a draft Purchasing Manual that will be distributed to each department <br />and will be updated to incorporate new electronic purchase requisition procedures when <br />the new Finance software is in place. <br /> <br />Council Comments <br /> <br /> Mr. Glickert asked about multi-jurisdictional bidding <br /> <br /> Mr. Price asked if each department could order items on their own. He stated he <br />did not hear enough about partnerships in order to secure discounts <br /> <br /> Mr. Sharpe asked if the City could combine orders with others as school district, <br />other municipalities, etc <br /> <br /> Ms. Ricci suggested using the web site to advertise for bids. She also asked Ms. <br />Watson if the Council could have a calendar listing when bids go out for yearly <br />staple items. <br /> <br />Ms. Watson stated the City did cooperative purchasing on the County, State and National <br />level. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 5:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Submitted by <br />Mayor Joseph Adams <br /> <br /> <br />
