MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />May 04, 2009 <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, May 04, 2009, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Robert Wagner <br /> Mr. Terry Crow <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Also in attendance were City Manager Julie Feier and City Attorney John Mulligan. <br />C. PROCLAMATION <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. April 20, 2009, Study Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Wagner, <br />and were unanimously approved. <br />2. April 20, 2009, Regular Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. Sharpe <br />and were approved unanimously. <br />3. April 27, 2009, Special/Study Session minutes were moved for approval by Mr. <br />Sharpe and were approved unanimously. <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />Mr. Rick Simoncelli was sworn in to the CALOP Commission in the City Clerk’ Office <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. <br />Kim Son Restaurant liquor license transfer to 8080 Olive <br />Mr. Wagner moved for approval, seconded by Mr. Glickert and was approved <br />unanimously. <br />I. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />J. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />1. BILL 9037 - An ordinance amending Chapter 2.62 of the University City <br />Municipal Code, relating to the police and firefighter’s retirement system, by <br />amending Sections 2.62 relating to the determination of base salary with respect <br />to retirees <br />Mr. Price moved to approve Bill 9037 and was seconded by Mr. Crow. <br /> <br />
