<br /> <br />MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />December 3, 2007 <br /> <br />At the Regular Session of the City Council of University City held in the Chambers of the <br />City Hall, on Monday, December 3, 2007, Mayor Adams called the meeting to order at 6:30 <br />p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following members of the Council were present: <br /> <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Lynn Ricci <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner had an excused absence. Ms. Rachel Watson was absent. <br /> <br />Also in attendance was City Manager Julie Feier. <br /> <br /> <br />D. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. November 5, 2007, study session minutes, as amended, were moved for approval by <br /> Mr. Sharpe, Jr., seconded by Mr. Glickert and were approved unanimously. <br />2. November 5, 2007, regular session minutes as amended, were moved for approval <br /> by Mr. Glickert seconded by Mr. Price, and were passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />E. APPOINTMENTS <br />1. Shirley LeFlore to the Arts and Letters Commission by Ms. Brot, seconded by Mr. <br /> Price and was approved unanimously. <br />2. Ben Senturia to the Plan Commission by Ms. Brot, seconded by Mr. Price and was <br /> approved unanimously. <br />3. Lisa Greening to the Plan Commission by Ms. Ricci, seconded by Mr. Price and was <br /> approved unanimously. <br />4. Margaret Holly to the Board of Adjustment by Ms. Ricci, seconded by Mr. Glickert <br /> and was approved unanimously. <br />5. Benjamin Halpert to the Plan Commission by Ms. Brot, in lieu of Mr. Wagner’s <br />excused absence, seconded by Mr. Price and was approved unanimously. City Clerk <br />Joyce Pumm confirmed that Mr. Wagner had verified this with her. <br /> <br /> <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />Jane North was sworn in to the Historic Preservation commission at the City Clerk’s <br />office. <br /> <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />1. Annual Tire Bid to lowest bidder, Bay Tire for $74,542.80. <br />2. Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) approval.
