<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Resolution 2009-08 <br /> <br /> A Resolution Approving the Fiscal Year 2009-2010 Budget <br /> For the City of University City and Appropriating <br /> Said Amounts <br /> <br /> Whereas the City Council of the City of University City will present a Local Option <br /> Sales Tax to the voters in August of 2009 with the potential to generate up to $480,000 annually; <br /> and <br /> <br /> Whereas the City Council of the City of University City is committed to balancing the <br /> City's budget with the goal of making reserve funds available from the use as match for the <br /> Wilson Flood Buyout program; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> University City, Missouri, held a public hearing for the proposed FY 10 budget on June 1, 2009 <br /> and, for the Annual Budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2009, as prepared by the City <br /> Manager and presented to the City Council on May 1, 2009, after the required advertisement <br /> thereof, including any revision as of this date, is hereby adopted. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that in accordance with the City Charter, the several <br /> amounts stated in the budget as presented, <br /> <br /> Are herewith appropriated to the several objects and purposes named. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> osep ams, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> Attest: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> /J6yce Pumm <br /> City Clerk <br />
