Mr. Liebet- <br />man asked several questions about operation, and Mr. Ollendorff said the time to discuss those issues <br />is when a franchise is being negotiated with TCI Cable Partners. Mr. Berra said an ordinance similar to <br />the one being discussed was recently adopted by several other municipalities. He said he appreciated <br />the fine relationship the City has had with Continental and that the constituents have been very kind over <br />the years. Mr. Wagner said if TCI is as good as Continental has been, the City will be overjoyed. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8295 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner moved adoption. CONDITIONAL USES," BY ADDING CHILD DAY CARE CEN- <br />TER OR DAY NURSERY. <br />Bill No. 8296 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8296 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Schoomer moved adoption. Bill No. 8296 became Ordinance No. 6078. <br /> <br />BILL NO. 8297 - AMENDING CHAPTER 34 MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING BY <br />CHANGING THE CLASSIFICATION OF PROPERTY AT OR NEAR 514 AND 518 NORTH AND <br />SOUTH ROAD FROM "SR" SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO "PD" PLANNED DEVELOP- <br />MENT. AS SET FORTH IN SECTION 34-9 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY ZONING CODE. <br />Bill No. 8297 was given its second reading. <br /> <br />Mr. John Paterson, 511 N. Central, thanked Mr. Ollendorff and Mr. Wagner for visiting his neighbor- <br />hood to talk with some of the neighbors about the rezoning and site plan for two apartment buildings <br />behind his home. He said a protest petition was submitted September 30, 1996, and he wished to go on <br />record as being in opposition to the rezoning and site plan approval. Mayor Adams said the petition was <br />given to the City Attorney, and someone in this area was contacted about its disposition. <br /> <br />Bill No. 8297 was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Ware moved adoption.
