RESOLUTION 2009-20 The matter of the neighborhood improvement district in University Heights Subdivision Number One was considered. After a review and general discussion of the matter, Councilmember__________________ offered the following resolution and moved its adoption. BE IT RESOLVED: That the Council of the City of University City, Missouri, finds and declares as follows: 1.On February 12, 2008, a neighborhood improvement district in University Heights Subdivision Number One (the “Subdivision”) was lawfully established by Resolution No. 2008-4, and preliminary plans and specifications for the proposed improvement were ordered to be made. 2.The general nature of the proposed improvement was as follows: Repair and replacement of concrete driveway aprons, curb and gutters and sidewalks that were significantly damaged, non- functional or exhibited more than minor cracks, and selected street patching repair according to University City Public Works Department’s specifications and design standards for public property of that nature. 3.On August 25, 2008, by Resolution 2008-11, the proposed improvement was ordered to be made in accordance with the plans and specifications set out in “Project No. 1041” entitled “University Heights Street Improvement Project” attached thereto, with a revised estimated cost of $531,250.00. 4.Construction of the improvement has been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor. The final cost of the improvements is $531,250 which does not exceed the original estimated cost of $425,000 by more than 25%.
