Missouri Department of Economic
On Tuesday, October 27, 10:00 AM-12 PM, the
Development will host a webinar on Local Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and
Transportation Development District (TDD) Annual Report
Instructions & Issues.
Hal Van Slyck, Incentives Specialist with Department of Economic Development, will
lead the session. He will step communities through the required reporting for
designated Local TIFs and TDDs. If you are interested in learning more you may
register for the session at www.ded.mo.gov/pdfs/LocalTIFWebinarRegistration.pdf.
Under legislation passed earlier this year, there are serious penalties for not reporting or
even filing reports late. As part of the review process, East-West
Gateway is urging local municipalities, counties and school districts to review and
comment on their county’s portion of the Plan and to formally adopt a resolution in
support of the Plan. By adoption of this resolution, those participating jurisdictions will
be eligible to receive federal mitigation grant funding. To maintain funding eligibility, all
municipalities and school districts should submit the resolution no later than the end of
October. The recommendations contained in this Plan are guidelines for voluntary
actions. Therefore, this Plan is a voluntary process that in no way states or implies the
acceptance of any liability for the success or failure of the program.
Missouri Weatherization Program - Housing Initiative Survey
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources would like to inform you about an
upcoming funding opportunity under the Weatherization Assistance Program.
