Chief Adams said that the problems are fights in the freshman/sophomore levels with a <br />few that grows when others want to see the action. <br />Mr. Price stated that a joint task force is needed between the City and the School. He said <br />that joint intervention groups are needed and there is a need to have an organized effort <br />for truancy. Ms. Wilson said the St. Louis County Juvenille Court has a truancy program. <br />When a student is expelled the St. Louis County Juvenille Court takes over. <br />Ms. Wilson stated that a student can attend high school until the age of twenty-one. She <br />said the seventy-five percent of incoming freshman will graduate with their freshman class, <br />five percent will graduate with additional summer school and five percent will graduate in a <br />five year period. Ms. Wilson said twenty-five credits are needed for graduation. <br />Ms. Wilson said alternative programs are being offered in order for students to graduate as <br />alternative school and GED. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 6:25 p.m. <br />Submitted by <br />Joyce Pumm, City Clerk <br /> <br />
