Persons interested in filing for the following positions of the City Council of University City may pick up a petition and information for filing in the City Clerk’s office, Room 4, second floor of City Hall, 6801 Delmar Blvd., University City, MO. 63130. Mayor – One for a four-year term Councilmember – WARD 1 - One seat for a four-year term Councilmember – WARD 2 – One seat for a four-year term Councilmember – WARD 3 – One seat for a four-year term Filing will open at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, and will close at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 19, 2010.Name placement on the ballot will be decided by lottery draw on the first filing day. On the remaining filing days, each candidate’s name will be placed after those filed on opening day. The last day to register to vote in this election is March 10, 2010.
