<br />Regular meeting <br />October 10, 2005 <br /> <br />Ms. Welsch then made the motion to remove the defeat and was seconded by Mr. <br />Wagner. The motion was carried unanimously with a vote of Nay, not to remove Bill <br />8804. <br /> <br />This Bill was given its second reading. <br />This Bill was given its third reading. <br /> <br />Mr. Sharpe Jr. moved for adoption and Ms. Colquitt seconded the motion. The Roll Call <br />vote was as follows: AYES: Ms. Colquitt, Ms. Brungardt, Mr. Wagner, Ms. Brot, Ms. <br />Welsch, Mr. Sharpe Jr and Mayor Adams. ; NAYS: none. <br /> <br />Bill number 8804 passed and became Ordinance number 6590. <br /> <br />Mr. Ollendorff thanked the City Council for the Bill just passed but wanted to make sure <br />that the citizens present understood it. Mr. Ollendorff requested of the Council a full <br />pension. Mr. Ollendorff read his retirement statement, which is to be effective, July 14, <br />2006. <br /> <br />BILLS FOR SECOND AND THIRD READING: <br />1. BILL NUMBER 8818 - AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO ZONING, BY REPEALING SECTION <br />34.30.5 THEREOF, RELATING TO DENSITY AND DIMENSIONAL <br />REGULA TlONS IN THE SINGLE-FA MIL Y RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, AND <br />ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS <br />"SECTION 34-30.5 DENSITY AND DIMENSIONAL REGULA TlONS, " THEREBY <br />AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO REQUIRE CERTAIN LOTS TO <br />CONFORM TO THE PREVAILING PATTERN OF DEVELOPMENT,. <br />CONTAINING A SA VINGS CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENAL TY <br /> <br />This Bill was given its second reading <br />This Bill was given its third reading <br />Mr. Wagner motioned to adopt and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe Jr. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsh asked Mr. Ollendorff if this was the bill being sent to the Plan Commission <br />first. Mr. Ollendorff said that was the Bill on Residentiallnfill Board. <br /> <br />Mayor Adams said that he would hope that the Plan Commission invites the Developer <br />is invited to talk as he felt that this was an anti-development piece of legislation. <br /> <br />The role call votes were as follows: Ayes: Ms. Brungardt, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Brot, Ms. <br />Welsch, Mr. Sharpe Jr., Ms. Colquitt, Mayor Adams <br /> <br />Bill number 8818 was passed and became Ordinance number 6587. <br />Page 17 <br />
