<br />Regular meeting <br />October 10, 2005 <br /> <br />The total cost of $1,127,8-03 was estimate to be funded by Federal and City <br />Funds. It was awarded to RV Wagner, Inc for low bid of $783,850.70. <br /> <br />#3 - 21 PCs and 1 Laptop for Police Department <br /> <br />Recommendation was awarded to Dell for low bid of $18,383. <br /> <br />#4 - New Transformer and Wirinq in Heman Park for Centennial Commons Facilities <br /> <br />Recommended acceptance of bid for $49,000 from Reinhold Electric. Company <br />was recommended by Project Architect and price was substantially below earlier <br />quote. <br /> <br />#5. - Install Heatinq/AC Unit in Enqine House Bunk Hall. Install 2-New Furnaces <br />in Victim Services and Bureau of Professional Services <br /> <br />Recommended award to County Heating and Cooling for low bid of $15,492. <br /> <br />#6 - Seven Hundred 95-Gallon Rollout Refuse Carts <br /> <br />Recommended award to Rehrig Pacific for low bid of $32,900. <br /> <br />#7 - Additional Fitness Equipment <br /> <br />Requested approval of expenditure of $11,888 for additional fitness equipment <br />from Commercial Fitness for Cybex to be added to previous contract for $36,802, <br />that was approved by The City Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner made motion to accept and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe Jr. The motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #2 - Conditional Use Restaurant with Drive-Thru at 7290 Olive <br /> <br />Recommended by City Manager and Plan Commission, with listed conditions, at the <br />corner of Olive at Midland. Mr. Ollendorff said that this site is a better alternative than <br />earlier proposed sites, as it is not adjacent to residential neighborhoods. <br /> <br />Ms. Colquitt motioned to adopt and was seconded by Mr. Welsch, The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot stated that the Plan Commission's important criteria was to keep in mind that <br />the Council wanted to have mixed economic use.
