AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE CONSTRUCTION, ESTABLISHMENT <br />OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CROSS COUNTY METROLlNK SEGMENT I <br />ETENSION BY THE BI-STATE DEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE MISSOURI-ILLINOIS <br />METROPOLITAN DISTRICT ("METRO"), AND PROVIDING FOR THE GRANT AND <br />CONVEYANCE OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR ROAD PURPOSES AND PERMANENT <br />EASEMENTS TO METRO UNDER, OVER OR ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE FORMER <br />RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY ADJACENT TO UNIVERSITY DRIVE ON THE NORTH AND <br />TO THE FOREST PARK PARKWAY ON THE SOUTH, BETWEEN THE WEST LINE OF <br />MEHLVILLE AVENUE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY AND THE EAST LINE OF <br />BIG BEND BOULEVARD. <br /> <br />This bill was Qiven its first readinQ and assiQned bill number 8837. <br /> <br />Last Item was the acceptance of the inter-governmental agreement with Metro. Ms. Welsch <br />moved for acceptance and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe Jr. Voice vote was called for and it <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Next Regular Session meeting is scheduled for January 09, 2006. <br />Study Session was scheduled for December 19,2005, in the Library Board Room at 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Ms. Welsh asked if anyone on the Council if they could find time to find information on the <br />condo-ization affect on communities as ours; as to the population of the city, the growth of the <br />city, the income level of the city or anything like that.
