Session 1712, Minutes December 15, 1997 OF THE FOLLOWING YEAR; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. The bill was given its second reading. The bill was given its third reading. Mr. Schoomer moved approval. Mr. Munkel seconded the motion. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Mr. Wagner, Mr. Lieberman, Mr. Schoomer, Mr. Sharpe, Mr. Ware, Mr. Munkel and Mayor Adams. NAYS: none. Bill No. 8360 became Ordinance No. 6142. BILL NO. 8361 - AMENDING CHAPTER 29 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY, MISSOURI, RELATING TO SUBDIVISIONS, BY REPEALING SAID CHAPTER 29 AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW CHAPTER TO BE KNOWN AS "CHAPTER 29. SUBDIVISION AND LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS;" CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. The bill was given its second reading. The bill was given its third reading. NAYS: none. Bill No. 8361 became Ordinance No. 6143. BILLS FOR INTRODUCTION: Mr. Ollendorff suggested introducing the following bill which would place the 1 1/2 % local use tax on the University City ballot. The Council needs to choose a ballot name. Mayor Adams suggested using "E" for Equity, which Mr. Ollendorff suggests the Council choose. Mr. Lieberman made a motion to amend the bill, sections three and four to replace the letters "FO" to the letter "E", which was approved.
