MINUTES OF UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br />SPECIAL SESSION <br />December 17, 2009 <br />The Council Special Session, held on the Fifth Floor of the City Hall, on Thursday, <br />December 17, 2009, was called to order by Mayor Joseph Adams at 6:00 p.m. The <br />following members of the Council were present: <br />Mr. Terry Crow <br />Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br />Mr. Byron Price <br />Mayor Joseph Adams <br />Also present were the City Manager Julie Feier, Andrea Riganti representing Community <br />Development and City Attorney John Mulligan. <br />The study session was to correct a Council vote on Bill 9054 to defeat it at the Council’s <br />December 7, 2009 meeting. It was explained that Mayor Adams had thought the <br />Community Development Department had asked that this bill be defeated at this time and <br />it would then be presented down the line when it was needed. It was explained the <br />Council needed to introduce the Bill, but not be finalized for the TIF Commission. <br />Mr. Crow made a motion to reconsider the motion to defeat Bill 9054. The original motion <br />was made by Mr. Price and seconded by Mr. Sharpe on December 7, 2009. The voice <br />vote was unanimous to reconsider Bill 9054. <br />A motion was made by Mr. Crow and seconded by Mr. Sharpe to reconsider the motion to <br />defeat Bill 9054. The Nay voice vote was unanimous, not to defeat Bill 9054. <br />Mr. Wagner motioned to postpone Bill 9054 until recalled and was seconded by Mr. <br />Sharpe. <br />Roll Call Vote was: <br />AYES: Mr. Price, Mr. Wagner, Mr. Crow, Mr. Sharpe, Jr., and Mayor Adams <br />NAY: none <br />The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m. <br />Submitted by <br />Joyce Pumm, City Clerk <br /> <br />
