Regular meeting <br />March 06, 2006 <br /> <br />“Every member when present must vote. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner asked Mr. Ollendorff to check with City Attorney as to the legality of this <br />meeting. Mr. Wagner called for a Question on this vote. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br /> <br />Although three names were on the Agenda to be appointed, the Mayor stated that <br />appointments to the IRB Board will not made until the application form that is required <br />by other commissions is completed and turned into the City Clerk. Ms. Brungardt <br />motioned to hold these appointments until the next meeting when applications can be <br />received. Mayor Adams also called for clarification if a volunteer can serve on more <br />than one Commission or Board. Ms. Brungardt said that there are citizens presently <br />serving on more than one Commission or Board. Mr. Wagner also asked if there was a <br />rule so stating. Mayor Adams said that it had been an understanding that a resident <br />could only serve on one committee unless the committees complimented each other. <br />Ms. Brot asked the City Manger to clarify these unwritten rules. Ms. Brungardt’s motion <br />was seconded by Ms. Colquitt. Motion was carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS: <br /> <br />th <br />A Proclamation was presented for the Sisters of Mercy, 150 anniversary of their arrival <br />in St. Louis. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS: <br />Mr. Sharpe Jr. introduced the Resolution calling for enhancements on Olive Blvd. It was <br />seconded by Ms. Welsch. The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S CALENDAR <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #1 – The Consent Calendar <br /> <br />#1 — City Hall Restoration – Carpet Replacement. <br />It was recommended approval of additional expenditure of $16,544.41 to <br />replace first floor carpeting that was nearing end of its useful life. <br /> <br />#2 — Picnic Beer and Wine License – 7148 Forsyth <br />It was recommended approval to sell beer and wine at special event at <br />Our Lady of Lourdes Church, March 31, 2006. <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />
