<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MINUTES OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />MAY 1, 2006 <br /> <br />At a Regular session of the City Council of University City held at the City Library <br />auditorium, 6701 Delmar, on Monday, May 1, 2006. Mayor Joseph Adams called the <br />meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. In addition to Mayor Adams, the following <br />Councilmembers were present: <br /> Mr. Byron Price <br /> Ms. Francine Brungardt <br /> Ms. Stefany Brot <br /> Mr. Michael Glickert <br /> Mr. Arthur Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />Mr. Wagner had an excused absence. <br />Also present was the City Manager, Frank Ollendorff. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br />Mr. Sharpe Jr., moved for approval of the April 17, 2006, Regular session minutes as <br />amended and was seconded by Ms. Brungardt. They were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Brot made a motion for approval the minutes of, March 28, 2006, Special session <br />as amended, and was seconded by Mr. Sharpe Jr. They were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENTS: <br />Mr. Price nominated <br />Arnold Kendall to the IRB Commission <br />Kathy Straatmann to the Economic Development Committee <br /> <br />Motion of appointments was seconded by Mr. Sharpe, Jr. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS: <br />The Mayor introduced the Resolution dealing with Laclede Gas. <br />The Resolution was to call to Laclede Gas’ attention that University City does not want <br />change or reduction in staff dealing with their inspection process. Mr. Sharpe moved for <br />adoption and was seconded by Mr. Price. It was approved unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S CALENDAR <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM #1 – The Consent Calendar <br />Electronic Cabling for Fire House #2 Renovation Project <br />#1 — <br />Mr. Ollendorff requested confirmation of an emergency contract he <br />signed with Tech Electronics for voice and data cabling and <br />equipment which must be integrated into the construction project <br />at this time. Mr. Ollendorff said the proposed cost of $22,998, was <br /> <br />
