<br />The City Manager explained 12 position classification changes budgeted, which is well <br />below typical year. Three title changes, IT Specialist full-time, and PR Aide hours <br />increase recommended in budget. Process from director to Human Resources to City <br />Manager explained. Priority for adding police officers discussed. <br />City Council consensus for changes includes: <br />1. For paint-up/fix-up homes. + $5,000 <br />2. City Hall Centennial landscape. + $20,000 <br />3. City Manager consulting. + $55,000 <br />4. IT office rehab. + $20,000 <br />5. Fiber net agreement. + $5,000 <br />6. Transfer pension over-budgeted. - $94,000 <br />7. Utilize budget set-aside to fund 3% COLA. ($72,748) <br /> <br />Council advised City Manager to give top priority attention to funding six police laptops. <br /> <br />City Manager to develop proposed revenue increases and/or expenditure reductions to <br />balance budget for 6 p.m., May 22, Public Budget Study Session at Library.
