PROCLAMATION <br />OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY CITY <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lehman Walker is a highly experienced, educated and certified member of the Urban <br />Planning profession; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lehman Walker is widely respected in international, national, regional and local planning <br />circles; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lehman Walker has over thirty years of professional planning, building, and economic <br />development experience; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lehman Walker has significantly contributed to the excellent planning, building and code <br />enforcement now inherent in the University City culture; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lehman Walker leaves us an outstanding role model of what a University City public <br />servant can and should be; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lehman Walker now departs for his new post in another favored city; and <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, let it be known that this Council extends to Mr. Lehman Walker its sincere <br />appreciation for his twelve years of dedicated service to our historic city; and further <br /> <br />THEREFORE, the Council gladly acknowledges publicly his unfailing professionalism as our outstanding <br />and deeply respected Director of Community Development; and further <br /> <br />THEREFORE, the Council claims with pride and remembers with affection his demonstrated affinity with <br />his fellow residents of University City, north, south, east and west…and in the middle too; and <br /> <br />FINALLY, the Council wishes him continuing great success in his chosen profession of Urban Planning <br />and Development, and urges him to re-visit our city for a joyful reunion in the not too distant future. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the University City Council have hereunto set their hand and caused the Seal <br />th <br />of the City of University City to be affixed this 7 day of December in the year Two Thousand and Nine. <br /> <br />SEAL <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ATTEST_____________________, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 32 <br />
