APPOINTMENTS <br />1. Bill Baldwin and Susan Glassman were reappointed to the Library Board <br />2. Julie Bianchi and Marilyn Cathcart were reappointed to the Commision on Arts and <br />Letters <br />F. SWEARING IN <br />G. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />H. CONSENT AGENDA <br />I. CITY MANAGER’S REPORT <br />1. Youth Job Corp: <br />Council received additional background information on the <br />proposed Youth Job Corp program in your January 22 Weekly City Manager update. <br />The preferred program identified by Council was the 13 week program which would <br />cost the City $75,000 with an additional $25,000 available in the future to take <br />advantage of any grant funding opportunities. To proceed as quickly as possible with <br />the identified program parameters in the current fiscal year, the Council will need to <br />approve a $19,435 budget amendment (slated for February 8) to kick off a pilot <br />project. <br />2. Interim Community Development Director Riganti <br />will update Council on (a) TIF <br />Commission activities and (b) the potential Cunningham Park <br />development/expansion. <br />3. Fire Chief Olshwanger <br />will provide additional background on the equipment needed <br />for the proposed bond issue election in April. <br />4. Police Chief Adams <br />will provide background on (a) the proposed bond issue <br />election in April and (b) provide an overview of the proposed parental accountability <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />
