<br />Council Agenda Item Cover <br />___________________________________________________________ <br />MEETING DATE: <br /> February 22, 2010 <br />AGENDA ITEM TITLE: <br /> COOPERATION AGREEMENTS FOR THE <br />CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE CENTENNIAL GREENWAY <br />AGENDA SECTION: <br /> City Managers Report <br />CAN THIS ITEM BE RESCHEDULED? : <br />Yes <br />BACKGROUND REVIEW: <br />Great Rivers Greenway has designed for <br />construction to two sections of the Centennial Greenway; from Forest Park to <br />Ackert Park and from Shaw Park (Clayton) to Olive Street Road. Prior to <br />beginning construction they desire to have agreements in place for the future <br />maintenance responsibilities. The City by these agreements agrees to maintain <br />the trail along the Melville and Ackert Walk from Kingsbury to a point 400 feet <br />north of Delmar Blvd. and to maintain a trail beginning at the city limit with Ladue <br />and going north to Olive Blvd. A section of the trail is in Olivette between Old <br />Bonhomme and Olive. Olivette will be responsible for all capital repairs in this <br />section. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Approval <br /> <br />
