Please provide your final comments on <br />design to me by March 10. <br />draft FY 11 budget <br />Also, thank you for all of your suggestions for the . We will proceed <br />preparing a draft budget that does not change service levels or assume additional <br />revenue. The budget will include the match for the FEMA Wilson buyout grant and <br />balance the budget with the use of our reserves. <br />Environmental Assessment for the proposed fire <br />We are progressing well on the <br />station <br /> location (Vernon & Westgate). We are now coordinating the planning for the <br />30-day review and public comment period. Ken Sessa of FEMA indicated there are two <br />ways to handle the process. The draft EA report is attached here for your <br />consideration. It is then the City’s responsibility to publish a public notice in the local <br />newspaper that is considered the “legal record” for the community and place a copy of <br />the report in the local library for people to come and read it. We will also submit the <br />report to FEMA for posting on their website. The document will be available on our site <br />as well as the City Clerk’s office once the official posting takes place. The results were <br />very positive; we see nothing that will delay the project. <br />We are seeking U City teenagers who are interested in sustainability and all things <br />Green Teens <br />green! The City's will help promote recycling in the Loop on Saturday, <br />Mannequins in the Loop <br />April 17 from 12 PM to 5 PM for . The Green Teens will hand <br />out literature on recycling and help celebrate the second Annual Mannequins in the <br />Loop event. Mannequins will be in 16 stores in the Loop dressed in designer outfits <br />made from recycled materials-“Project Runway meets Green.” The outfits, designed <br />locally, will reflect the store's theme. If you know a teen that would be interested in <br />community service hours, this is an ideal way to be involved in something fun and <br />promote green practices.
