Much thanks <br />to the multi-departmental team and IT staff that worked on making the site even more <br />attractive and more accessible for our residents! <br />University City Adult Education and Literacy Program <br />Thehas a new satellite site: <br />nd <br />New City Fellowship, located at 1483 82 Street, University City, MO 63132. The <br />program will be operating at this location for the next three years. Day and evening <br />classes will be held there for the GED, English as a Second Language and Literacy <br />Tutoring weekly, Monday through Thursday. The move to the new site was prompted <br />by the approval of the bond issue measure that includes the construction of two new <br />elementary schools and renovation/addition to other schools throughout the district. <br />While all this is underway, students will be housed at the AEL Program’s old site the <br />McNair Administration Building. The march is <br />scheduled to start at the University City High School. The event hosted by local <br />businesses and non-profits will host speakers Bernie Hayes, Bishop Jesse Battle, Ms. <br />Bolanle Ambonisye, Tim Stewart, Rev. Douglas Parham, Damon Cannon, Tony <br />Thompson and many others bring a message of Progress, Accountability, and Power to <br />University City. <br />*Reminder that the public is invited to a Town Hall Forum with staff on the City <br />budget Monday, April 19 at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />
