ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.36 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY <br />REPEALING SECTION 10.36.090 THEREOF, RELATING TO STOP INTERSECTIONS <br />– VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS, AND ENACTING IN LIEU <br />THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS “SECTION 10.36.090 STOP <br />INTERSECTIONS – VEHICLES TO STOP AT CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS” THEREBY <br />AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS FOR TRAFFIC ON KINGSLAND AVE TO STOP <br />AT WASHINGTON AVE; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 10.36 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to Stop intersections - <br />Vehicles to stop at certain intersections, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.36.090 <br />thereof, relating to Stop intersections -Vehicles to stop at certain intersections, and enacting in <br />lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.36.090 Stop intersections -Vehicles to stop <br />at certain intersections,” thereby amending said section so as for traffic to stop at intersection of <br />Kingsland Ave and Washington Ave; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: <br />10.36.090 Stop intersections—Vehicles to stop at certain intersections. <br />The following street intersections are designated as stop intersections for certain entrances thereto <br />within the meaning of this title. Every operator of a vehicle or other conveyance proceeding on <br />streets listed in the lefthand column below shall stop such vehicles or other conveyance before <br />entering or crossing the street opposite in the righthand column below: <br />Ahern Avenue <br />Groby Road <br />Ahern Avenue <br />Mt.
