AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 10.44 OF THE UNIVERSITY CITY MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS FOR SPECIFIC STREETS, BY REPEALING SECTION 10.44.010 THEREOF, RELATING TO PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES, AND ENACTING IN LIEU THEREOF A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS “SECTION 10.44.010 PARKING PROHIBITED ON CERTAIN STREETS AT ALL TIMES,” THEREBY AMENDING SAID SECTION SO AS TO RESTRICT PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON THE EAST SIDE OF PARTRIDGE AVENUE, THEREOF FROM A POINT 75 FEET OF THE SOUTH LINE OF WILLOW TREE LANE TO A POINT 40 FEET SOUTH THEREOF; CONTAINING A SAVING CLAUSE AND PROVIDING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE City of University City, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Chapter 10.44 of the University City Municipal Code, relating to parking restrictions on specific streets, is hereby amended by repealing Section 10.44.010 thereof, relating to parking prohibited on certain streets at all times, and enacting in lieu thereof a new section to be known as “Section 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times,” thereby amending said section so as to restrict parking at all times on the east side of Partridge Avenue, thereof from a point 75 feet of the south line of Willow Tree Lane to a point 40 feet south thereof; so that said section, as so amended, shall read as follows: 10.44.010 Parking prohibited on certain streets at all times. The following streets or parts of streets are designated as places where the parking of vehicles is prohibited at all times: Alley between Kingsbury Boulevard and Pershing Avenue: For noncommercial vehicles, from the west sidewalk line at Purdue Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet west thereof, and from the east sidewalk line at Jackson Avenue to a point fifteen (15) feet east thereof. Alley North of Loop North: Both sides thereof from the first alley east of Kingsland Avenue to Leland Avenue. Appleton Drive: North side from the east curb of Tamerton Avenue eastwardly for a distance of sixty (60) feet. Asbury Avenue: East side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard. West side thereof between Forsyth Boulevard and Lindell Boulevard. Amherst Avenue: Along the perimeter of the triangular island at the intersection of Midland Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue. Bartmer Industrial Drive: Both sides thereof from the driveway servicing 6324 Bartmer Industrial Drive to a point eighty-five (85) feet east of the driveway and to a point eighty-five (85) feet west of the driveway. Bartmer Industrial Avenue: For a distance of thirty (30) feet on both sides of the south entrance located between the 6400 and 6500 block of Bartmer Industrial Avenue. Big Bend Boulevard: Both sides, from the south city limits to Forsyth Boulevard, and from Lindell Boulevard northwardly to Millbrook Boulevard. Blackberry Place: On the west side thereof from Shaftesbury Avenue to Blackberry Avenue. Bland Drive: West side thereof between Northmoor Drive and Forsyth Boulevard.
